5 to 500: A People’s Plan Workshop

(Pt. 4)

Part 4 of this unique series to initiate a People’s Plan brought some of our region’s powerful leaders with tangible ideas to inspire a greener more equitable Boulder County and world. This community classroom was dedicated to inspiring a 500 year vision, with grounded innovations that can be implemented right now.

Thanks to Candi CeDeBaca for speaking about “Food as a Utility,” Mike Wird for inspiring us about Biotecture and life-supporting architectures, and Yessica Holguin for the mandate to build Frontline community wealth and leverage cooperative economics. And thanks to all the participants that shared their own ideas.

We will give this community vision and input to local government to shape the upcoming Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan update.
