Our Work

Community Resilience Hubs
We are developing community leadership and building resilience. From permaculture and green infrastructure to solar power and emergency communications, we are initiating resilience hubs in Boulder County affordable housing communities.

Climate Justice Trainings (English & Spanish)
We provide comprehensive English & Spanish trainings to educate Frontline communities on climate justice, how it impacts our communities, and our roles in the movement— from our lens.

Ecosystem restoration
We facilitate hands-on educational experiences to strengthen and rebuild our local ecosystems, including workshops on water harvesting, rain gardens, native plants and edible forest gardening.

Cultural Innovations for Climate Justice
We value, celebrate, reclaim and support culturally rooted innovative solutions and initiatives as they are critical for long-term intergenerational and cross-cultural initiatives and solutions.

Climate Justice Leadership & Advocacy
We create opportunities to grow and support the leadership of Frontline and grassroots community members, nourishing a narrative that our communities have much needed wisdom, leadership, and solutions.

This unique series to initiate a People’s Plan for Climate Justice brings some of our region’s powerful leaders with tangible ideas to inspire a greener more equitable Boulder County and world. This community classroom is dedicated to inspire a 500 year vision, with grounded innovations that can be implemented right now for Climate Justice. We will give some of this community vision and input to local government to shape the upcoming Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan update.
We will hear about regenerative food systems, arts , culture, and using Nature as a model for how we clean our wastes, air, land, and water locally. Then we’ll hear your ideas for our community.
